ARTIST ROSTER:

Welcoming Erin Luck to the Autonomous Team:

We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Erin Luck who recently joined the team at Autonomous! To keep with the new hire tradition we asked Erin 5 questions so everyone could get to know her a little better.
1. What brought you to Portland?
To experience more culture and collaborate with like-minded people. It seemed like a logical move coming from Boulder, Colorado, but it was rather impulsive. I didn’t know anyone, nor did I have a job. I felt like exploring another area of our country, and I thought Portland would be the perfect place to surround myself with a wonderful music scene and delicious beer culture.

2. What inspired you to work in the music industry?
My parents are travelers and so I grew up in a household always filled with music from around the world. What really solidified my yearning to work in the music industry though, was my first show at Red Rocks. It is hard not to be inspired in that setting. I was so in awe of everything around me, and the diversity of everybody in the audience, each one with a serenity about them, and a smile on their face. I realized how unique this experience was, and how I wanted to be surrounded by it the rest of my life; And be part of the force that brought that same feeling to others around the world.

3. Do you have any nick names?
Little Bo Peep/Peeper (Clearly from my parents) or just Luck.

4. If you could be a combination of any two animals (ex: Liger) what would they be and why?
A Penguowl (Penguin and Owl). Would get the fun, playful days of a penguin, and the stealthy, pensive and noble characteristics of a nocturnal creature.

5. Where and when would you go in a time machine?
Sausalito in the late 60s and early 70s. I always picture it as a perfect little community full of artist and imaginative citizens, all collaborating together. Picturesque and full of new ideas and imagination.
